Eli and Rivers are growing so fast...it is really becomming visible as we watch them grow together. They get along really well...they were born 2 days apart so we were in the hospital together as well...sweet memories. They have had thier birthday parties together and they will be going to pre-school together in August...fun times!

My Baby is Growing Up

Eli will be turning "3" soon and I cannot believe how time has flown right by us. He is potty trained for the most part, he can count to 10 by himself and 20 with help, he knows his letters as well as the sounds they make, he has mastered 24-50 piece puzzles on his own...see what I mean...he is getting to big! He will start a Pre-School Program in August and we are really excited about it! More to come after his he turns the BIG "3"!!

Just wanted to drop in a Happy New Year to everyone! We stayed rather busy through the holidays...glad things are getting somewhat back to normal. The kiddos got a little cottage to play in for Christmas and they are loving it. More pics to be posted soon!

I have not been feeling the Christmas spirit lately but my husband finally talked me into getting the Christmas decorations down...I didn't want to put up the tree as this is a HUGE challenge to keep anything on it with 3 littles ones. Oh Yeah!! I had to convince myself it would be okay if all the ornaments disappeared from the tree...so now I am okay with it all. Our tree is bare on the bottom layer. Eli had so much fun putting his tree up as well.

We enjoyed a nice night out at the fair with our awesome friends, the Bridgforths. We captured a few pics while we were there. Rivers and Eli basically went from the cars to the dump trucks to the school bus. They were adorable riding all the rides. Rockin Redbirds Fans

We took a little adventure downtown to see the Redbirds play a little baseball. The twins were so sweet and it helped that we were in the Company Suite. After a little while we loaded up in the stroller and went out to the playground to let Eli run around. Eli also got to see Rocky Redbird before we left the ball park. Mommy couldn't get her camera out fast enough....ugh!
We also ran into several friends at the playground so we were able to fellowship a little while Eli played on the playground...

STEE-BEN

We were invited to attend a going away party for Steven Crump - he is going away to school at IBC-Indiana Bible College. Eli is going to MISSSS Stee-Ben.
Steven plays the drums at church and Eli LOVES Steven. Eli calls him STEE-BEN...STEE-BEN. Steven always allows Eli to come to the platform and play the drums after service.
So we were glad to attend the party and of course Eli had a great time and was the life of the party...as always.

Disney Train Adventure

Daddy and I tool Eli to see the Disney Train that made a stop right here in Memphis, TN. The train was very exciting to see at the Amtrak Station in downtown Memphis...It was featuring the movie "A Christmas Carol" and many of the characters were present.
The only bad thing about the adventure...we had to stand in line for 2 hours in the smoking hot sun just to get inside the train to take a tour. It was worth it in a way...just to have some "ELI" time without the little ones in his way. He seemed to really have enjoyed the day. Daddy and Eli took a trollie ride down Main Street and hung out the rest of the afternoon.

We had dinner at Cracker Barrell Friday night and it was yummy. The babies LOVED the veggies. Eli just wanted to stay outside and rock in the rocking chairs and play checkers with the "circles" as he calls them. Fun Times!

The twins are 9 months old now...as of July 1. I truly cannot believe how fast time passes. They had their checkup together today and we are so thankful for healthy babies.

We spent the weekend in Nashville with our family. We had a great time visiting with everyone. Eli jumped on the trampoline for the first time and was loving it. Aiden also had a great time bouncing around as you can see below. We had a cook out with friends and family on Saturday and then the storm came flooding in so there were no live fireworks for us. We ventured over to Suggs Spray Park in Collierville this past Saturday. It was sooo HOT out that we thought the kiddos would like to get a little wet. They seemed to enjoy it so...we will be visiting this park often for the rest of the summer.

Weekend Adventures

We had an eventful weekend. The twins aren't feeling well but we somehow still ended up on the run it seemed. We went to the park and played with the kiddies on the swings mostly. Eli likes to swing in the "big boy" swing most of the time...until he sees the babies getting in the baby swing. So...Eli and Ava went for a swing in the baby swings. Ava was loving the swing. Aiden didn't care for it at all.On Saturday, Eli got into some of Daddy's "stuff" and was fixing his 4 wheeler. He looked like the tin man from the Wizard of Oz. I was laughing so hard at him. He was fixing everything...broken or not.

Redbirds with Friends

We went to the Redbirds game with our good friends...the Usery's. They had a little boy, John David, just before the twins were born. They also kept Eli for us when I first went back to work...pre daycare days. It was great. They live in our neighborhood so I could just turn the corner and drop him off and know he was being taken care of for the day. I loved it.

Ava matched 2 little girls at church on Sunday. Our friends, The Drokes, bought Ava a dress and their little girl, Allie, got the same exact dress too. Allie called me Saturday night to see if Ava could match her at church on Sunday. I thought that was so sweet...so they matched. Cute! Cute!

Also, our friends, The Fullers, are usually dressed in pink. When you have 5 sweet little girls...there is usually alot of pink. Gracie and Ava matched so I got this sweet little picture out of it.

Very Much Alike

As stated in previous posts, a great friend of mine, Becky Sykes, and myself are SOOO similar in all our ways. We are so much alike...we should have been identical twins I think. Everyone thinks we are sisters and sometimes even mistake one for the other. It is quite funny. Check out Becky's Blog.

Now that we both have little ones, we have even found ourselves dressing our boys alike. It is so so funny how much we think alike and have the same taste in things...outfits in these pictures.

Mother's Day was a very nice day...we spent time with my family after church on Sunday. Both of my brother's were in town which is rare. So we had a nice time together.

Baby Preslyn (my sisters little baby girl) came over to play with Ava this week. They were so funny together. They both played with their own things and then towards the end of the night Preslyn stole Ava's bottle of milk for herself. She just laid right back and started drinking. (you just had to be there) They are about 3 months apart.

Rocky Redbird

We took the kids to the Redbirds game last weekend. Eli LOVES Rocky Redbird. He goes around saying Rocky Wedbird. It is so cute. Last year he wanted to see Rocky but not touch. This year we couldn't get him away from Rocky. He was hanging on his leg when he tried to walk away saying Rocky Wedbird...Rocky Wedbird. Too funny.

Ava and Aiden love to be outside as well so they had a blast. They are very mobile these days so they were all over the hill. The twins attracted a little girl named Makia so we took their picture as well. She talked up a storm to us and she let me know she liked her picture taken. We had a great time.

Chuck celebrated his birthday today. We sent him an edible arrangement of fruit since he likes to eat so healthy and all. We got some chocolate dipped pieces as well...so me and Eli could have our candy fix. Chuck got to eat at the Catfish Cabin for his big day so he was happy about that.

Eli got his first "real" big boy hair cut. He now has a little spike going on...I have to say it is pretty cute. He looks so grown up but ohh so cute as well. I am pleased with his little hair do now. Thanks to Daddy for taking him and enduring the hair cut itself...and for being brave enough to get his hair so short. I loved it when they got home!

Aiden and Ava are sitting up on their own now. They are growing so fast right before our eyes. They already take toys from one another and then cry. It's so dwwet to see them play together and jabber at one another. It is cute. Aiden gets really excited when he sees Ava...he is like her little prtector already. He is always looking to see just where she is and making sure she is doing okay. Ava smiles when she sees Aiden but doesn't much look for him. She is pretty funny...she just stares and checks things out all the time.

We took the kids to the Redbirds game last night. It was nice to get out and the twins actually are really good when we go places. They like to "go" I suppose. Eli was so sxcited to run free at the ball park. He loved playing on the playground and sliding on the slide. He watched some baseball as well. He was studying it very closely. By time we could take a moment to get some pics the twins were so sleepy they didn't really want a picture.

Chuck and I celebrated 5 years today. We headed to Nashville for the weekend. It was a very nice weekend for us. Aunt Jenn and Aunt Heber (and the new "aunt" Denise) kept all the babies for us. We went out together all day on Saturday. It was very refreshing.

A special thanks to "everyone" that took care of our babies while we were out.

Eli went to the 2 year old Sunday School class for the first time. He was not a happy camper at first but he turned out to be just fine. He made it through the entire hour just fine...thanks to Andrew's Mommy~Sis. Leslie~ YAY!!! We are so excited for Eli to be attending Sunday School now...all his little friends are in there as well so he is loving that...Rivers, Rylee, Malee, Will, Carson, Karlyn, Ashton and Kenton.

It is really hard to believe Eli is already "2"! He is my sweetheart and I love him soooo much. He is so so adorable with those HUGE blue eyes. He loves the outdoors...he would live outside if I would let him. He is starting to make sentences and most of them I can interpret. He is talking so big and learning so so much.
Sayings:
When we come in he says...Hey Mommmy...Hola! H eis learning some Spanish and it is so funny. He now says...I don't know...I just don't know. It is the funniest thing you've ever heard along with his facial expressions. He also is saying Ohh Yes...That's Cool! He is so funny! He makes me smile.

Our family came in this weekend, G-ma, Aunt Jenny, Dawson and Jack-Jack. Eli was soooo excited to see them. He LOVES Dawson and Jack-Jack so much. We went to the zoo to celebrate Eli's birthday...again. He got lots of cool gifts from his G-ma and Aunt/Cousins. He got a baseball bat, glove and ball set which he carries around everywhere with him. He also got his very own laptop with a mouse...he thinks he is BIG stuff now. He also got money from G-ma and a sweet sweet card.

Happy Birthday to my sweet baby boy...Eli. Eli turned 2 on Thursday March 5. We celebrated his birthday on Monday night at Chuck-E-Cheese with his friends Rivers and Carson. We had a blast. It was quite an experience...Eli just doesn't understand that he cannot have the balls when someone else is playing. He has to wait his turn. He had a few melt downs while we were there but we made it through.

Yay!! We have finally put together some of the 'stuff' the kids got for Christmas. Daddy put the wagon together this weekend and took Eli out for a bit. HE LOVED THE WAGON!!!

Mommy put Eli's racetrack together that his Aunt Jenni got for him...might I add it had 200 pieces to put together...YEAH...200 pieces. Tiny pieces. I got it together though and Eli is loving that. He is just now really getting into cars. So now he plays on his table with his car track and watches Buzz, Woody, and Jesse (Toy Story I and II).

Happy 4 Months to Aiden and Ava. My little babies are growing up so fast. Here are some pics on their 4 month birthday...and the stats are in from the doctors office. It is now official...Aiden has passed his sister up in weight!!! They are such a blessing and so so sweet! We love them to pieces!

All my siblings...all 6 of us got together yesterday afternoon. Some of us haven't been together in about 2 years so it was sooo nice. One of my 'twin' brothers is in the Army so he had been in IRAQ for about 18 months...we missed him a bunch! My other twin brother, Joshua, works on the river so he is only home a few days at a time within the month...we miss him when he is gone too. 2 of my sisters live towards Oxford so we don't see them as much as we would like to. Anyways...it worked out and we all got to be together and it was so much fun!!

We have broken out the Bumbo for the Twins. It is so cute seeing them sit in this thing. It's great since they want to be in the action but cannot really sit up on thier own yet. Well...Eli has decided to show a little bit of interest in using the "big boy" potty. This past Sunday I was getting everyone ready for church and getting baths and Eli told me he wanted to pee-pee in the potty. So I set him up there not thinking he would really do anything and he DID!!! YEAH!!! He pee-pee'd in the potty. We made a huge deal over it and he has gotten on the potty everyday since then. Not used it but he's sat there and at least thought about it. I plan to really work with him this weekend. We'll see....

Happy 3 Months to Aiden and Ava. They were 3 months old on Jan. 1, 2009. We have had lots of fun watching them grow. They are defintely growing as you can see. They are both becomming little chunks. They are such blessings and we are so grateful!

Eli got this sweet little Lion from his cousin Dawson. I thought this was so sweet. Eli is carrying it around saying Lion...Dawson...Lion...Dawson. He saw their picture last night and started crying because he wanted Dawson. Then he said Jack-Jack...hat. He knows Jack-Jack has work hats that he likes to wear. It is so pitiful to hear him call for them and then I have to tell him they are not here.

We decided to have the grandkids pictures made in their Christmas pj's that grandma bought them for Christmas. It was a surprise for grandma. We were also going to attempt a regular pic without the pj's all in the same sitting. What were we thinking??? It was quite an adventure. The pj picture turned out pretty cute but the other was total CHAOS at the picture place. No one would pose, the babies were crying, Eli and Jackson were running behind the backdrop and climbing on the props...as soon as they snapped this pic Jackson decided to lay down and eli was walking away and Dawson wanted us to get those screaming babies out of his arms. Too many little ones and changing clothes was not the best idea. It was too funny not to purchase though.

We had our family Christmas at grandma's as soon as we arrived Wednesday night. Eli got a basketball goal. He didn't care about anything else after he saw that. The twins got a new family deluxe wagon...I'm so excited about the wagon!

The twins got really cute clothes from Aunt Jenn and the cutest toys from Aunt Heber. Eli got some clothes as well and a new car track for his activity table and a Potato Head Set that he is loving right now. Thanks for all the neat gifts!

Christmas Eve

We had Christmas at our house on the eve of Christmas Eve. We were heading out of town on Christmas Eve so we let Eli open his presents the night before. He was so excited about his gifts. The babies slept through the entire thing...they awoke later when it was time to eat and get ready for bed.

The kids and I are packing up and going over to the Fuller's (our very good friends) to spend the day. We will be filled with lots of laughter, love, and homemade treats while we are there. They are the best little cooks ever. See yall soon!!!

As noted above: We had a really good time spending the afternoon with our friends. The girls are so wonderful and of course baby Isaac is so adorable and I just want to smooch those chubby cheeks of his. He is such a happy baby! We had some delightful brownies and delicious potato soup. YUMMY!!!

We've had a great week trying to shop and get things ready for Christmas this year. We will be traveling to Nashville on Wednesday to spend Christmas with Chuck's family. We will be back over the weekend and will probably meet with some of my family for New Year's!

Here are a few pictures from yesterday...the kids all had matching reindeer outfits...they turned out to be pretty cute. I had my heart set on snowmen outfits but things got all mixed up and reindeers it was. Eli got a guitar from the Droke's (good friends of ours) and then a sucker. That is becomming is staple treat from the girls. He climbed up on the stairs at church and was sitting behind a chair playing his guitar and eating his sucker.

We attended our annual Christmas Musical at our church last night, The Pentecostal Church. It is always an amazing show of talent and worship to the Lord. I look forward to it every year. 2 months to 24 years

Ava and Aiden had their 2 month checkup today. They are both doing EXCELLENT! Ava weighed in at 10 lbs. 13 oz. and Aiden weighed in at 10lbs. He is definitely catching up to his baby sister. Also, my twin brothers 24th birthday was today. We celebrated at Texas Roadhouse. Justin just got back from Iraq and we are so glad he is home. Josh works on the River so he is not home much either...It was so nice they were both able to be together and home on their birthday.

We traveled to Nashville to see Chuck's side of the family. We had a great time. Eli LOVES his cousins, Dawson and Jack-Jack. He had the best time when we were there. He loves going with his Aunt Jennifer too...she takes him everywhere she goes and he loves it. He seems to act very good while with her so she says. Eli also stayed with his Grandma and Dawson and had a great time. He loved being there. We will be back to see them at Christmas time as well.

Baby Dedication

Sunday was Aiden and Ava's baby dedication service. What a sweet and beautiful service! There were 12 babies that were dedicated. WOW!! It's an honor to be able to give our children back to the Lord. We have been given a double blessing this year.

The twins did pretty good and Eli only lasted approximately 5 minutes. It was a very special day for our family!

It was kind of hectic trying to take pictures with everyone when the kids out number the parents...hehe!!

Here are some pictures after getting ready for church on Sunday...we tried to get the twins together and one is always sleeping it seems. They are doing great...I am anxiuos to see how much they weigh now...we go back to the doctor in another week or so. Eli is doing great with the babies...he wants to hold them and kiss them all the time. He checks on them no matter what he is doing when they start crying. He helps us burp them these days too...pretty sweet.

This weekend my WONDERFUL HUSBAND laid hardwood floors at our house. He is so AWESOME!!! He did an excellent job. He had a little helper on Sunday. Eli went with daddy to Lowe's to pick up some more hardware and needed to wear daddy's glasses. When they got back to the house he needed daddy's work glasses on as well. Isn't this adorable!

We enjoyed a fun filled day at work, Medtronic, on Friday. I took the twins to visit everyone...it was quite a day. Everyone wanted to peek and hold them. That was okay though. Chuck was asked to be a Scarecrow for the day along with his co-worker Tameka as the Pumpkin. They both looked AWESOME I might add. Our church had Hallelujah Night this past Saturday. We had Eli dressed as Pooh Bear and the twins were Honey Bees. They turned out so cute. Eli had a big time getting candy and jumping in the Moon Bounce with Daddy. Eli didn't actually play any of the games like he was supposed to...he just went up to the person manning the game and took candy from their stash to put into his bucket. It was rather cute I might add.
