Saturday, April 28, was my daddy's birthday. With the "Girls" help, we surprised him with a little party. We had a funfilled day for sure. We blindfolded daddy so he wouldn't know where we were taking him...then we showed up at the "girls' house and mommy and me brought him to the door for the surprise...Later daddy rode on the bike trails with Darby and Gracie...he loves riding bikes. We had a pleasant afternoon and spent some time out on the porch swings soaking up the beautiful day. Shelly made dinner and the Ellis' came over as another surprise for daddy. The dinner was INCREDIBLE! The "girls" surprised daddy with a homemade carrot cake they decorated. They thought it would be funny to put "63" on his cake and he did too! The decorations, the food, the cake, and the fellowship were PRICELESS! We ended the night with some good old fashion videos and then I snuggled up to Darby Doo and went right to sleep! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!
This past weekend we headed out to the country to stay with our friends...The Fuller's! There were some little white nosed squirrels that came up in the back yard on Saturday morning..."Fox Squirrels". They are so so cute. On Sunday, we went out to the fire pit and roasted hot dogs and s'mores. We had a great time.
Rivers Ann was dedicated to the Lord today and it was very sweet. I went to her party after church to have some snacks and see our friends. We are pretty close friends...we were born 2 days apart in the same hospital.
