Rockin Redbirds

Happy Memorial Day to Everyone! We celebrated at the Memphis Redbirds game. This was Eli's 2nd Redbirds game to attend. Everyone seemed to have a great time. Eli got to meet Rocky the Redbird. He only liked him from a distance though...as you can see he was trying to jump out of my arms when he got so close. When he walked away all Eli would say was "bird", "bird", "bird". It was FUN!!

Feelin Froggy

This weekend we had our family in from Nashville. Grandma, Aunt Heather, Stephen, and Dawson. We met Stephen for the first time and we "approved". He is a very nice guy and loves Aunt Heber so that's what counts. We went to eat at Cracker Barrell after church on Sunday and met up with Kim Covey and her new man... We had a great time being with everyone.

Weekend of Family Fun

We had an eventful weekend. These are just some random pictures from the weekend. We had a relaxing night on Friday night. On Saturday our church has an outreach in the downtown area for Memphis in May. We rent a pavillion and have song service...It was awesome!! Gateway Choir was there with us this year as well. They did an incredibly great job as well. On Sunday after church, we went out to the Park and had some great fellowship time with our friends. The kids had a great time on Saturday and Sunday being outside playing.

Mother's Day 2008

Eli is really into picking flowers these days. He loves flowers. It is really funny but not really always a good thing because...he likes to pick them whenever he sees them. That may mean weeds from our yard or...out of someone else's flower bed. He hasn't quite caught on to that concept yet. He always picks the flowers and brings them to "mama". He just grins as he runs towards me with them. It makes my day when I see him coming with all the flowers he has picked from the yard. He is so adorable! I love you little man...you are the sweetest little boy there ever was. Thank you for making mommy's mother's day special!
